Here's how it works.

First, enroll in the Refresh™ Exchange-Program. Then gather your medications that qualify, package them in a box, enclose a completed Refresh Exchange-Program packing slip and ship it to us via a traceable carrier such as DHL, FedEx or UPS. As soon as we receive your shipment, we'll dispose of your medications in a safe, environmentally friendly way and ship your replacement at no charge. Yes, it's that easy.

Here's what to expect when you enroll.

Every month, you'll get an e-mail with an itemized list of medications you ordered from Wedgewood that would have just expired within the last 30 days. You can use this list to check your inventory for medications that qualify for the Refresh exchange program. Be sure to check recently-expired compounded medications that you did not order from Wedgewood, too

Here are the Refresh™ Exchange-Program guidelines.

Only licensed U.S veterinarians are eligible for the Refresh Exchange-Program. Veterinarians in Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Missouri and North Carolina may not participate due to your state board of pharmacy's regulatory restrictions.
Controlled substances, chemotherapeutic drugs, commercially available medications and medications that are not currently in Wedgewood Pharmacy's formulary are not eligible for this program.
You must supply a valid e-mail address to participate in the program.
We will accept only unopened, expired medications for replacement.
We will ship replacements only after we receive your returned, unopened/unused expired medications.
We must receive your returning medication within 30 days after its beyond-use date.
You must include a Refresh™ Exchange-Program packing slip with your returned medication.
You are responsible for shipping returns to Wedgewood Pharmacy via a carrier that provides shipment tracking.
We are not responsible for lost shipments of medications being returned for exchange.
We will make a like-for-like replacement for all returned medications that originally were compounded by Wedgewood Pharmacy. Where there is no exact replacement-medication available for compounded medications that were not originally compounded by Wedgewood, we will call you to obtain permission to substitute a similar preparation before we will ship a replacement.
We will not replace medications that currently are not included in our formulary.

Wedgewood Pharmacy retains the right to discontinue the Refresh™ Exchange-Program or to modify participant eligibility at any time.
