FDA
Credits Compounders with Legislative Win: |
 |

Reporting on draft legislation by Sens. Kennedy, Burr and Roberts
that would "clarify" the FDA's role in regulating
compounding, The FDA Drug Daily Bulletin noted that
"organizations representing more than 60,000 pharmacists ...
sent a letter to the bill's authors, discouraging them from
introducing it." The bill has never been introduced.
The proposal, which would have made it virtually impossible to obtain
compounded medica-tions, was opposed by "pharm-acists, the
autism community, women's health advocates and tens of thousands
of patients and prescribers."
Add your letter to the tens of thousands opposing this still-pending
legislation.
